I wanted to take a few moments of your time to pass along some feedback on one of my user group managers, Mark Sapoznikov. I have been working with Mark in my capacity as a Community Marketing Manager here at Adobe Systems since he joined the Adobe user group program nearly a year ago and Mark has really flourished in this role.
Generally it takes a certain type of person to volunteer their time and resources to lead a community group. Running an Adobe user group is a major commitment and often thankless work. It requires certain traits such as dedication, commitment, hard work, good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple personalities and these traits will make an individual successful at almost any endeavor they set their mind to. Mark has been what I consider to be an exemplary manager so far and he has been a pleasure to work with.
Additionally, what has impressed me so much about Mark is his willingness to go the extra mile, above and beyond the extra work he has aready volunteered for in managing an Adobe user group. "..." When someone who is already doing volunteer work offers to shoulder even more, I definitely take notice.
If this is the tenacity that Mark approaches a volunteer position with, I can only imagine how he would conduct himself in his professional ventures.
